FORMER BLAIR MAN DIES IN YORK

Word reached Mr. and Mrs. Julius Petersen Tuesday of the death of Chris Petersen of York, Nebraska. Deceased was the only brother of Julius Petersen of this city. At his death he was seventy eight years of age.

Mr. Petersen made Blair his home for the past four years. His daughter, Miss Gerda Petersen was Home Economics teacher in the Blair school during that period, and she and her father lived together.

The daughter was elected to a like position in the schools at York and last August they moved to that town.

Seven children are left to mourn his death: Mrs. Axel Rasmussen and Otto Petersen of Exeter, Nebraska; Hans of Alliance; Mrs. Brice Parker of Max, Nebr.; Mrs. Hans Bradder of Denver, Colorado; Mrs. Ann Christensen of Chicago and Miss Gerda of York.

Funeral services are being held this Thursday afternoon at 2 o’clock at his old home, Cordova, Nebr. Mr. and Mrs. Petersen are in attendance.
