TOM QUINLAN, 73, DIES AT HIS OMAHA HOME

Former Blair Man, Active In Omaha Business Circles

Thomas F. Quinlan, a native of Blair and one of the best known businessmen in eastern Nebraska, died at his home in Omaha last Saturday morning. The attributing cause of his death was asthma which was brought on by a severe attack of flu.

Tom, as the older Blair residents knew him, was a native of Blair where he grew to manhood. For a number of years he was manager of the Fair Store in Blair. From that position he went to Haydens in Omaha about fifty years ago, and then to the Brandeis Stores, where he held an important position for years.

He finally retired from the mercantile business, and in company with a son he went into the real estate and insurance business which he followed until his death.

Besides the wife and three sons, he leaves a brother and four sisters for mourn his death.

Funeral services were held Tuesday morning at 9:30 o’clock.
