OLD SETTLER DIES SUDDENLY

The Arlington community was shocked and grieved Monday to learn of the sudden death of one of their oldest citizens, Mr. E. Bierman, which occurred on Sunday night about eleven o’clock. She was born December 14, 1874 and was 71 years, 8 months and 17 days old at the time of her passing. Mrs. Bierman has always been a very active woman, keeping up her home and lovely yard in the Whitford district two miles east of Arlington, besides doing papering for other people. She had brought extensive entries to the fair in the floriculture department just last week. She leaves to mourn her passing a son, Otto and daughters, Mrs. Chas. Gottsch of Arlington, Mrs. Will Franke and Mrs. Albert Nieman of Nickerson, a sister, Mrs. Lizzie Woodcock of Lincoln and a brother, Herman Laaker of Arlington.
