SOREN ROSENKILDE BURIED WEDNESDAY

ARLINGTON - Soren Kristian Rosenkilde was born in Horeson, Denmark on July 12, 1871 and died at a Fremont Hospital on July 20th, 1946, being 75 years and 8 days old at the time of his death.

He was united in marriage in Denmark to Anne Katherine Neilsen on February 7th, 1893 and to this union were born three children, G. H. Rosenkilde of Arlington, A. C. Rosenkilde of Los Angeles, California and Mrs. Anna Peters of Washington, Nebraska. Immediately after their marriage they came to the United States in June of 1893 and lived on a farm northwest of Washington for 7 years.

On January 1st, 1900 he moved his family to Washington, Nebraska where he conducted the business of a blacksmith until his health failed him four years ago.

He was baptized and confirmed in the Lutheran faith in Denmark when a youth. He was also a member of the Woodmen of the World.

Besides his wife and three children, he is also survived by three grandchildren and one great grandchild, two brothers, Christian and Nels and one sister, Anna who live in Denmark.

Funeral services were held on Wednesday afternoon at the Washington Community church with the Rev. A. W. Clarke of Arlington officiating. Burial was made in the Prairie View cemetery at Washington.
