MAUDE C. BADGEROW DIED JULY 15, 1946

Daughter Of Pioneer Residents Of DeSoto, Nebraska

Maude C. Badgerow, wife of Justin Badgerow, died at his home at 2552 Crown Point Avenue, Omaha, Nebraska on July 15th. She was born at DeSoto, this county, to the late Mr. and Mrs. Urbin Cachelin, pioneers of this county.

She was educated in the schools of the county and for a term of years she taught school in this county and on Nov. 26, 1902 she married Justin Badgerow and they took up their home in Omaha where they have since resided.

Besides the husband, she is survived by a son, Bertram E. and her grandson, Robert of Boise, Idaho. Three sisters also survive: Mrs. Daisy Bowles and Mrs. Ada Dalbey, both of Omaha and Mrs. Goldie Miller of Spokane, Illinois and one brother, Edward G. Cachelin of Ft. Calhoun.

Mrs. Badgerow had been in failing health for a number of years, but to the end she bore the same pleasing personality that marked her in her early life and made her many admiring friends.

At her death she was seventy one years of age. Her life had been one full of experiences of the early days and of that early period of development in her native county.

Funeral services were held last Thursday in Omaha, and interment was made in Blair.
