HANS PETER HANSEN BURIED HERE SUN.

Hans Peter Hansen, a resident of this vicinity since 1924 passed away at his home on West Nebraska Street last Thursday, June 6th. Mr. Hansen, who was a retired farmer, was born in Jutland, Denmark on August 7th, 1866, and it was there he was baptized, confirmed and given his schooling.

In 1890 he came to America, settling in Seward County where he was married on March 8, 1894 to Miss Maren Jorgensen. The couple lived at Staplehurst, Nebraska for about thirty years but later retired to this city.

He leaves to mourn his passing his wife, four daughters and a son. The daughters are Mrs. Stinus Loft, Scranton, Iowa; Mrs. Dan Greeno of Blair; Mrs. Svend Aage Nielsen of Chicago; and Miss Grace Hansen who is at home. The son is Nathaniel Hansen of this community.

There are also six grandchildren and three great grandchildren. A brother and two sisters survive in Denmark.

Funeral services were held Sunday afternoon at the home and at the First Lutheran church with burial in the Blair cemetery. Rev. H. C. Jorgensen officiated. Bendorf service was in charge.
