ARLINGTON OLD SETTLER DIES AFTER BRIEF ILLNESS

Wm. Antrim, Arlington, Dies Suddenly. Came To County In 1876

William E. Antrim of Arlington died at his home Wednesday evening, June 5th, after only a few hours illness. At his death he was 90 years of age.

Deceased was born in St. Mary’s Prairie, Illinois in 1856, and at the age of twenty years came to Fontanelle. He moved to Arlington fifty five years ago where he has since resided.

He is survived by his wife and six children, Mrs. Nels Johnson of Louisiana; Rear Admiral Archie Antrim of Washington, D.C.; Miss Irma of Washington, D. C.; Marguerite of Omaha; Ted and Joe at home. One sister, Mrs. Sarah Reiten, now ninety six years old, of Lansing, Illinois, also survives as do twelve grandchildren, ten great grandchildren and three great great grandchildren.

At this writing arrangement for the funeral have not been reported.
