H. A. HACKBARTH RITES TUESDAY

ARLINGTON - Funeral services for Herman A. Hackbarth, who died at his home here on Saturday, were held on Tuesday at St. Paul’s Lutheran church, preceded by a brief service at the home. Rev. Carl Hellmann conducted the services which were largely attended.

Mr. Hackbarth had lived here for the past thirteen years, and had operated a milk and transfer trucking line for most of that time until ill health forced him to sell.

Born in Deshler on November 28, 1893 he married Alma A. Sturve of that place where Mr. Hackbarth was foreman of the broom factory for a number of years.

Three children were born to the couple, all of whom survive him; his wife passed away two years ago.
