BANKER AT ARLINGTON DIED LATE MONDAY

W. T. Waldron Victim Of Heart Attack Monday. Funeral Rites April 18

ARLINGTON - Walter T. Waldron, prominent businessman of this place, died at his home here at about eleven o’clock on Monday evening following a heart attack which he suffered early in the afternoon.

Born near Plattsmouth, Mr. Waldron was a graduate of the old Fremont Normal after which he began his banking career in the citizens Bank at Waterloo. He became associated with L. D. Spalding about thirty years ago, and has been connected with banks in various places over the state and sixteen years ago came to Arlington as vice president of the Arlington State Bank.

He was married to Louise Johnson on August 19, 1903, and to the union were born four children, the elder son, Wendell, dying in an accident just six months ago. Surviving are the wife; two daughters, Mrs. Joseph Eaton of Louisville, Kentucky; and Mrs. Robert Finley of Omaha; and one son, Kenneth of this place. Also two grandchildren; one sister, Mrs. Grace Parker of Lincoln and one brother, H. B. Waldron of Omaha.

Funeral services were held on Thursday afternoon at the Arlington Congregational Church with Dr. E. Merle Adams officiating. Mr. and Mrs. J. L. Gwen of Lincoln sang two duets with Mrs. Alice Newcom as accompanist.

Pallbearers were George Schoettger, Leslie French, Leonard Nelson, Farnam Franzenburg, Emil Scheer and Erwin Scheer.

Burial was made in the family plot in Prospect Hill Cemetery near Waterloo.
