PETER H. KRUSE RITES HELD MON.

Peter Hansen Kruse was born November 12, 1879 in Denmark, and passed away at his home in Herman on March 30, 1946.

He came to America at the age of 20 years, and settled in Washington County where he resided with the exception of five years spent in Minnesota.

He was married to Miss Clara Christensen on September 20, 1910, and to them five children were born. Besides the wife, he leaves two daughters and three sons. They are Mrs. Lester Potter of Omaha, Mrs. Monte West, Walter, William and Gerald Kruse, all of Herman.

Two brothers, Chris of Herman and Anton of Fontanelle, and three sisters, Mrs. Sena Christensen of Tekamah, Mrs. Ray Triplett and Mrs. Thorvald Hansen of Herman.

Funeral services were held on Monday afternoon at the home followed by services at the Herman Baptist church, and interment was made in the Herman cemetery.
