OLD SETTLER DIES MARCH 16TH

Chris Horn, an old settler and the son of old settlers, died at the Blair Hospital March 16, 1946. He had been a patient for nine weeks. At his death he was seventy five years and six months of age. He was a native of this county and was born August 22, 1870 on a farm southwest of Herman.

His entire life had been spent in this county, and he had lived on his present farm for the past thirty five years.

He leaves to mourn him one brother, Louie of Herman; one niece, Mrs. Emma Beard of Omaha; one nephew, Fred Horn of Herman and other relatives.

Funeral services were held on Monday, March 18 at the Methodist church in Herman, and interment was made in the Herman cemetery.
