MRS. JENS IVARSEN PASSED AWAY MON.

Mrs. Jens Ivarsen seventy one years of age, passed away last Monday, March 11th, at the Dodge County Hospital following an illness of about eight months.

Deceased was born in Moulton, Iowa, and after her first marriage the couple homesteaded in Dakota. Selling out their homestead they moved to Texas and then to Oklahoma where the husband died.

She was married to Jens Ivarsen on February 3, 1935, and they lived a happy contented life. She was a woman who took her place in the Orum neighborhood where she and Mr. Ivarsen resided and all who knew her spoke highly of her. Mrs. Ivarsen has two step children, Mrs. Carl Rasmussen and Pete Ivarsen, who with the husband, mourn her passing. Funeral services will be held tomorrow (Friday) at 1:30 p.m. from the home and at two o’clock from the Danish Lutheran church near Orum with Dr. N. C. Carlsen officiating, and interment will be made at the Orum cemetery.
