WAYNE WAKEFIELD RITES TUESDAY

Wayne Harland Wakefield was born on October 12, 1934 at Herman, Nebraska, and died at his home in Kennard, Nebraska on Sunday, February 24, 1946, being 11 years, 4 months and 12 days old at the time of his death. He was the only child of Roy and Eva Wakefield of Kennard, formerly of Herman.

He leaves to mourn his loss his father and mother and his paternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Tom Wakefield of Herman. He was a healthy boy until he reached the age of thirteen months, and since that time his health was never good and he was constantly under the doctor’s care.

Funeral services with Rev. A. W. Clarke of Arlington officiating was held at the Bendorf Funeral Home on Tuesday afternoon, and interment was made in the Blair cemetery.
