Frederick F. Schneider Dies At 82 Years. Early Settler Here

Frederick F. Schneider, for many years a farmer south of Blair, died Tuesday evening, January 20th, at the home of his son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Otto Wenz. He was born near Bennington in 1864, three years before the state was admitted to statehood.

Funeral services were held on Friday, February 1st, at the Campbell Mortuary with J. Sebenlist, Representative of the Watchtower, giving the funeral discourse.

Mr. Schneider is survived by one son, Louis, and one daughter, Mrs. Dora Wenz, and six grandchildren. His wife and one son, Thomas, preceded him in death. Two brothers and three sisters survive him and with other relatives and friends mourn his death.

Interment was made in the German Cemetery south of Blair.
