GEORGIA INNES RITES WEDNESDAY

George Innes passed away at the Blair Hospital last Saturday evening following a stroke. She was taken to the hospital eight days before, but nothing could be done for her.

Deceased was born at Brookdale, Ontario, Canada, and had she lived until February, she would have reached her seventy ninth year.

In 1870 the family moved from Canada to a farm in the Hill Creek school district west of Herman where she grew to womanhood. After the death of her parents, the family moved to Blair where they lived for a number of years and around fifty years ago they moved to Fremont where they lived for ten years, and then they moved to Boulder, Colorado where they still make their home.

Georgia never married and of late had made her home with her sister, Mrs. Bert Marsh of Spiker.

She leaves to mourn her passing one brother, Fred of Battle Creek, Michigan; and four sisters, Mrs. Bert Marsh, Lena and Lydia Innes and Mrs. Helen Morrison, the latter three of Boulder, Colorado.

Funeral services were held on Wednesday at 2 p.m. from the Bendorf Funeral Home with Rev. Sidney L. McCaig of the local Methodist church officiating, and interment was made in the Blair cemetery.
