FORMER KENNARD MAN FOUND DEAD

Residents of Kennard were shocked Wednesday morning to learn of the death of Kenneth Jones of Hastings, Nebraska. Jones was found dead in his bed early Wednesday and death was attributed to heart trouble. He was about 42 years of age.

Jones was a graduate of the Kennard Public Schools and left that place to enter business about twenty years ago.

He was the owner of drug stores in Hastings, Grand Island and Columbus. All of the stores were large and the Columbus store was recognized as one of the finest in the midwest.

He was the son of Mr. and Mrs. Burr Jones, former Kennard residents, and is survived by a wife and daughter of Hastings, his mother of Los Angeles, California and a sister, Mrs. Roland Scott, also of Los Angeles.

Mrs. Paul Berry of Blair and Mrs. Carl Ward of Kennard are aunts of the deceased man.
