#1-13 May, 1908 - The Pilot - Anna Lund

Miss Anna Lund died at the home of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Nels Lund, who live two miles northeast of Kennard, last Wednesday, after an illness of about three weeks’ duration. The funeral was held at the Methodist church in Kennard at 1 o’clock Friday afternoon, Rev. J. L. Riley of this city officiating. Miss Lund was taken sick with typhoid fever while working at the B. F. Haller home in this city where the children have all had the fever. A sister, Hulda, who was working at the F. M. Castetter home is also very low with the same disease.

DEATH FROM TYPHOID

Miss Anna Lund, who had been ill for several weeks with typhoid fever, died at the home of her parents near Kennard last Thursday morning and was buried Friday.

Miss Lund was about nineteen years old and worked at the home of Mr. and Mrs. B. F. Haller in this city, and it was here that she was taken sick. Before being unable to travel she was taken to her home and a nurse sent there by Mr. Haller.

Her sister, Hilda, who was working at the home of Mr. and Mrs. F. M. Cassetter, is also at home suffering with the same malady and it is reported that the chances for recovery are very poor.
