HARRIETT JANSSEN

Mrs. Earl (Harriett Marie) Janssen, 74, of Nickerson died early Thursday morning at her home.

She was born August 27, 1912, at Craig, and attended the Alder Grove School.

The former Harriett Marie Graver was married on July 17, 1931, to Earl Janssen in Fremont.

They have lived in the Hooper-Nickerson area all their married years.

She was a member of Salem Lutheran Church of Fontanelle, and was a charter member of the Wo-He-Lo Extension Club and a charter member of the Nickerson Fireman's Auxiliary.

She is survived by her husband Earl; a daughter, Erlaine Plugge of Ralston; three sons, Ramon and Leigh of Nickerson and Monte of Omaha; a brother, Louis Graver of Hooper; two sisters, Minnie Freberg of Lyons and Mrs. John (Clara) Larson of Uehling; 13 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were held at 10 a.m. Saturday, April 11, at Salem Lutheran Church of Fontanelle with Rev. C. VanderStope officiating.

Burial was in the Salem Lutheran Cemetery.

Ludvigsen Mortuary in Fremont was in charge of arrangements.
