MRS. HENDERSON DIES

After an illness extending over several months, death came to the relief of Mrs. J. W. Henderson last Thursday, and the funeral was held at the family home on Sunday, Rev. Barnes of the Lincoln Free Methodist officiating.

Mrs. Henderson’s health has been very poorly for a number of years, but it has only been within the past year that she has been seriously ill. Deceased was born in Wisconsin fifty four years ago and was married to J. W. Henderson in 1870. Mr. and Mrs. Henderson came to this county soon after their marriage and settled on a farm in Lincoln township where they remained until Mr. Henderson was elected to the office of county superintendent. Since that time the deceased had lived in Blair and had many warm friends who will mourn with the family over her death.

Deceased was the mother of six children, one of whom died in infancy, and five surviving here.

This is the second death in the Henderson home in a short time, Mr. Henderson having died a week before Thanksgiving.
