#1-7 Mar., 1906 - The Blair Courier - John A. Folden

John A. Folden died last Tuesday evening at the home of his son, Will, just west of town, and the funeral was held at the United Brethren church at 1 o’clock Friday afternoon, Rev. Shick officiating. Some two months ago he suffered a pneumonia attack, and after a partial recovery a relapse came which ended in death. Deceased was born in Ohio July 15th, 1845, and was a resident of Mondamin, Ia. for a number of years. His wife died there about nine years ago, and shortly after he came to this county. He leaves four sons, John, Will, Frank and Louis all of whom are residents of this county.

J. A. Folden died at his home in Blair last Wednesday, and was buried Friday from the U. B. Church, Rev. Shick officiating. Deceased was born in Ohio in 1845 and lived in Mondamin, Iowa until about nine years ago when he came to Blair. The cause of his death was pneumonia. He leaves four boys, John, Will, Frank and Lewis.
