| #1-31 Jan., 1906 - The Blair Courier - Nels (or) Niels Christiansen
Nels Christiansen, Donney’s father, died at the Blair Hospital Monday morning and the funeral was held at the home of another son, Jim, at 2 o’clock this afternoon, Rev. Conley officiating. One other son, Nels, lives here and Walter lives at North Platte, Neb. There were two daughters, Annie of this city and Mrs. Emory Epling of Lewiston, Idaho. Deceased was born in Denmark June 1st, 1847, and had been a resident of this city for about 30 years. His wife died five years ago in July.
#2-31 Jan., 1906 - The Pilot - Nels Christensen (or) Christiansen
The funeral of Nels Christensen, Sr., took place this morning from the home of his son, J. C. Christensen over in the first ward. Mr. Christensen was born fifty nine years ago this spring and has lived in and about Blair for more than twenty years. Six children, four boys and two girls survive him, while two children and his wife are dead. The funeral services were conducted by Rev. G. C. Conley of the Baptist church. In the loss of their father, The Pilot extends its sympathy to the bereaved children.
#3-1 Feb., 1906 - The Blair Democrat - Nels Christensen
Nels Christiansen died at the hospital last Monday morning and was buried yesterday. Deceased had lived in Blair a number of years and leaves a family of grown up boys and girls to mourn his death.
