#1-23 Sept., 1903 - The Pilot - Anna Buchanan

The funeral of Mrs. Anna Buchanan was held here Monday afternoon at five o’clock. Several years ago the family moved from Blair to Marshalltown, Iowa, and later to Minneapolis where they lived at the time of her death.

#2-24 Sept., 1903 - Blair Republican - Annie (Tremain) Buchanan

Mrs. Annie Buchanan, a former well known resident of this city, a daughter of Mrs. N. Tremain, died last Saturday at Minneapolis of heart trouble. The remains arrived here last Monday accompanied by her husband and a lady friend, and the funeral was from the U.B. church in the afternoon, and burial at Blair cemetery. Mrs. W. E. Bonney officiated. Deceased was 42 years old and leaves one son, Charles, married, and also a married daughter, Dora, and two young daughters unmarried. Mrs. Wm. Bonnie is a sister, also Edward, George, Frank and Wm. Tremain are brothers. Many relatives and friends reside in Iowa.

#3-24 Sept., 1903 - Blair Courier - Mrs. M. Buchanan

The body of Mrs. M. Buchanan was brought down from St. Paul, Minn. last Sunday and taken to the home of her mother, Mrs. N. Tremain. The funeral was held at 5 o’clock Monday afternoon at the United Brethren church, and interment made in the Blair cemetery. Heart failure was the cause of her death after an illness of three months’ duration. She was a former resident of this city and know principally as a spiritualistic medium.
