#1-11 June, 1903 - Blair Republican - Mrs. L. Andersen

Mrs. L. Andersen died at 1 o’clock Tuesday afternoon, and the funeral services will be held at the Danish church at 4 o’clock today, Rev. Kr. Anger officiating. Deceased was born in Denmark Sept. 2, 1846, and was married to L. Andersen at Argo, Neb. where they lived for about 23 years. They came to Blair about two years ago, since which time Mr. Anderson has been conducting a grocery store in the Matthiesen building on Walker Avenue. Mrs. Andersen was taken sick about three months ago with pneumonia which left her in a weakened condition and quick consumption followed, finally causing her death. Besides her husband, she leaves three daughters and one son to mourn the loss of wife and mother.

#3-15 June, 1903 - The Pilot - Mrs. L. Andersen

Mrs. L. Anderson, whose death occurred Tuesday afternoon, was buried Thursday afternoon. The funeral was held from the Danish church, Rev. K. Anker officiating. Mrs. Anderson was born in Denmark in 1846. About two years ago the family moved to Blair where Mr. Anderson has been engaged in business. Mrs. Anderson’s illness was brought on by an attack of Lagrippe and for some time it had been known that she was beyond the aid of medical skill. She was a kind hearted Christian wife and mother and leaves to mourn her loss a husband and three daughters and one son who in their sad bereavement have the sympathy of a wide circle of friends.
