#2-16 Apr., 1903 - Blair Courier - John Utterman

After an illness of but one week’s duration, John Utterman died at his home about six miles southwest of this city at an early hour last Thursday morning. The funeral was held at the house at 1 o’clock last Saturday, and interment made in the Kennard cemetery. Mr. Utterman was a high type of the sturdy and progressive German farmer, and his death in the very prime of life is a sad blow to his friends as well as to his family.
