The funeral of little Paul, the ten year old son of Frank Dixon, who died on Saturday of last week from diabetes and inflammatory rheumatism after an illness of only five days, took place last Sunday afternoon from the residence of Mr. and Mrs. Asa Dixon, the grandparents, and was largely attended. The funeral service was by Rev. Markley, pastor of the M. E. church. Alice and Paul, the two children were very much attached to each other, and Mr. and Mrs. Asa Dixon, with whom they had made their home for the past five years, feel this loss very keenly. Mrs. Asa Dixon was sick in bed at the time of this sad affair, but at this writing is somewhat better.
