Miss Ada Houghton died at six o’clock Monday morning of quick consumption, and the funeral was held at 2 o’clock this afternoon at the Christian church. Miss Ada was about 16 years of age, just blossoming into womanhood, and her death will add greatly to the grief of her father, whose wife died suddenly only a short time ago.

Miss Ada, daughter of George Irvin and Almelda Houghton of Fairview, died last Monday of consumption. The funeral was from the Christian church on Wednesday afternoon, and Rev. Motter of Kennard officiated. She was only 16 years of age and her sudden death brings sorrow to many relatives and friends.
