ANDREW CLARK DIES IN WASHINGTON

Andrew Clark of Seattle, Washington recently passed away closing a bit of pioneer history of this county.

At his death he was seventy years of age. His parents, Mr. and Mrs. Hicks Clark, were pioneer settlers in Ft. Calhoun where they were active in the civic welfare of that city in its early days. Later the family moved to Blair and built the home now occupied by Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Tornblad, just across the street west from the Methodist church.

Here the deceased spent his boyhood days and attended the Blair schools. Later he went to South Omaha and entered the commission business from which he retired in 1946 and went to Seattle, Washington where he lived until his death.
