MRS. LISA PARADIES RITES SUNDAY

Mrs. Lisa Paradies, mother of Mrs. Ray Keogh of this city, who has for some time been a guest in the Mapor’s Rest Home in Omaha, died Dec. 13 of a stroke.

Deceased was born in Germany in 1876 and when about ten years of age came to Nebraska where she was later married in June of 1894.

Two daughters were born to this union, Mrs. Ray Krogh of Blair and Mrs. Elfrieda Wise of Tracy, California.

They lived in Seward, Nebraska where the husband was in business. Later they moved to Douglas where the husband died in April, 1922.

The two daughters mentioned above and six grandchildren and four great grandchildren and several nephews and nieces are left to mourn her death.

Mrs. Paradies was a real mother, a good friend and neighbor. A member of the Lutheran church she lived the part in her active days. She was a member of the O.E.S.

Funeral services with Rev. Wm. Kline of the Congregational church were held at the Campbell Mortuary at one o’lock Sunday, and burial was made at her old home town of Douglas, Nebraska with the Campbell Mortuary in charge.
