WILLIAM KRUGER RITES SATURDAY

Wm. C. Kruger, an early resident of Ft. Calhoun, passed away Thursday, November 21, and funeral services were held Saturday at the Presbyterian Church in Calhoun with Rev. H. C. Jorgensen of Blair officiating, and interment under the supervision of the Sievers Mortuary was made in the Calhoun cemetery.

Deceased was born in Germany in 1872 and when seven years of age came to this county and settled in the vicinity of Calhoun where he grew to manhood. About thirty years ago he took up cattle feeding and continued in the business until about a year ago.

He leaves a son, Paul, of Calhoun, and daughter, Mrs. L. T. Lessinger of Nampa, Idaho, and these with the wife mourn his death deeply.

Besides the immediate family, he leaves a brother, Henry; five sisters, Mrs. Gus A. Renze, Misses Bertha, Elizabeth and Christine of Omaha and Mrs. Tom Walker of Plattsmouth, Nebraska.
