JOHN H. KRUGER BURIED FRIDAY

Funeral services were held Friday for John Henry Kruger, 83, of Arlington. He had passed away Tuesday of last week, November 13, at his home in Arlington.

Following brief services at the Reckmeyer Funeral Home, rites were performed at the St. Paul’s Lutheran Church north of Arlington at 2 p.m. The Rev. Carl Hellmann was in charge. Interment was made in St. Paul’s cemetery.

Mr. Kruger was born January 6th, 1868, at Arlington and lived on a farm northwest of there for many years before retiring and moving into Arlington. He was married in 1896 to Amelia Hartman.

He is survived by Mrs. Kruger and a daughter, Mrs. L. M. (Pauline) Menking. There are also three grandchildren and three great grandchildren.

At the services the church choir sang “Just As I Am” and the congregation sang “Rock Of Ages” and “Asleep in Jesus”. Mr. George Bluma was the organist.

Pallbearers were August Stork, Louis Dunklau, Frank Kruger, Edward Giesselman, Charles Gottsch and G. W. Hilgenkamp.
