Funeral services for Mrs. Bethiah A. Gaines were held Tuesday afternoon at the Elk City Methodist Church. Dr. A. W. Hunter of the Methodist Church in Fremont was in charge. Mrs. Carl Byorth and Mrs. Asa Lang sang “Saved By Grace” and “Nearer My God To Thee” accompanied by Marvin Schou at the piano. Rebekah services were conducted at the close of service by the Arlington Rebekah Lodge No. 42 of which she was a member. Interment was in the Elk City cemetery. Pallbearers were Norman Cowles, Marlow Cowles, Francis Turner, Earl Growcock, Harold Gaines and Carson Gaines. Mr. Gaines passed away just four months ago. Surviving are Mrs. Gertrude Germain of West Point, Mrs. Alice Oetting of Winonomee, Wisconsin and Miss Madge Gaines of Fremont.
