MRS. CHRISTENSEN SERVICES WERE SEPTEMBER 24th

Funeral services for Mrs. Emma Christensen, 73, who passed away Wednesday at the Methodist Hospital in Omaha were held Friday afternoon. Services were conducted at 1:30 at the home and at 2 p.m. at the Methodist church in Elk City. Dale Dominy of Valley officiated, and burial was in the Elk City cemetery. Reckmeyer and Son Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements. Mrs. Christensen’s death followed a long illness. She was born in 1880 in Illinois and had lived in Arlington vicinity for many years. Her husband, Fred Christensen, passed away about 10 years ago. Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Ralph Widner of Omaha and two sons, Glenn of Milton, IN. and Loren of Bennington.
