Dies In Veterans Hospital Los Angeles, California

The sad news of the death of Gerald Yowell at the Sawtelle Veterans’ Hospital in Los Angeles, California Thursday morning, August 16, was received by relatives in Herman. Burial was at Los Angeles Monday morning, August 20. Besides his wife, Mabel, two sisters, Mrs. William Christensen of Tekamah and Mrs. Lawrence Larsen of Herman and two brothers, Claude and Allen Yowell of Herman are left to mourn his passing, also other relatives and friends.

GERALD YOWELL DIES ON WEST COAST

Gerald Yowell, a one time resident of Washington County, passed away at the Sawtelle Veterans Hospital in Los Angeles, California Thursday morning, August 16th. Burial to be Monday at 11 o’clock with military services. Mr. Yowell was a World War I Veteran. Sisters are Mrs. Wm. C. Christensen (Edna) of Tekamah, Mrs. Lawrence Larsen (Anna) of Herman and two brothers, Allan Yowell and Claude Yowell, both of Herman.
