CARL STRENGER, 63, DIED IN FERMENT

Carl Strenger, a resident of Fremont, but a former Washington county farmer in the Fontanelle territory, passed away Monday at the Dodge County hospital in Fremont. He was 63 years of age.

Mr. Strenger was born February 23rd, 1888 near Fontanelle. He grew to manhood there, making it his home until his marriage to Miss Rena Neal in 1920. He then farmed near Oakland, Nebraska until 1947 when he moved to Fremont following the death of his wife.

He is survived by three brothers, John of Fremont, Henry and George of Fontanelle and two sisters, Mrs. Henry Wilkening and Mrs. Walter Seifert, both of Fremont.
