MRS. GEORGE WULF DIED LAST FRIDAY

Mrs. George Wulf of Arlington passed away Friday, July 13th, following a brief illness. Deceased at her heath was 70 years of age. The funeral services were held Sunday afternoon at the Arlington Congregational church with Rev. E. Merle Adams officiating, and interment under the auspices of the Reckmeyer funeral home was made in the Arlington cemetery.

Deceased was a lifelong resident of Arlington, and in the early days of their marriage they farmed north of Arlington, moving to Arlington about three years ago.

She leaves to mourn her of the immediate family her husband, two daughters, Mrs. Arthur Kroeger of Ames an Mrs. Elmer Knudsen of Fontanelle and three sons, Leonard, Clifford and Harry, all of Arlington, and one sister, Mrs. J. F. Stange of Omaha and one brother, Herman Rahlfs of Blair.

At the funeral rites, Mrs. Jack Cady, soloist, sang “Asleep In Jesus” and “Crossing the Bar”.

The pallbearers were Ray Rahlfs, LaVern Rahlfs, Maynard Larsen, Harlan Wulf, Donald Wulf and Wilford Stork.

Mrs. George Wulf is Dead

Former Farm Woman, 70, Succumbs after a Stroke; Rites Sunday

Mrs. George Wulf, 70, former Arlington farm woman, died early Friday at her home in Arlington, where she had been in serious condition since suffering a stroke.

The funeral was held at 2:30pm Sunday at the Arlington Congregational Church, the Rev. Dr. E. Merle Adams officiating. Interment, under direction of the Reckmeyer & Son Funeral Home, was in Arlington Cemetery. Pallbearers were Roy Rahlfs, LaVern Rahlfs, Maynard Larsen, Marlan Wulf, Donald Wulf and Wilford Stork.

Mrs. Wulf was born February 23, 1881.

Surviving her are her husband, George; three sons, Harry, Leonard and Clifford Wulf, all of Arlington; two daughters, Mrs. Arthur Kroeger of Ames and Mrs. Elmer Knudsen of Fontanelle; a sister, Mrs. J.F. Stange of Omaha; a brother, Herman Rahlfs, of Blair, and 13 grandchildren.
