L. W. LATTA RITES MONDAY

L. W. Latta, who has been in failing health for the past five years, died in a convalescent home in Lincoln last Friday. A heart attack was given as the contributing cause of his death.

Had he lived until November 12th, he would have been seventy eight years of age. He was married to Mrs. Jack Maher thirty seven years ago, and since that time has made Blair his home. He was reared and educated in Tekamah.

The wife died a few years ago and as there were no children, he was left alone. Two half sisters, Mrs. N. T. Hansen of Lincoln and Mrs. George French of Ft. Wayne, Indiana survive.

He was a member of the Congregational church and the local pastor, Rev. Wm. Kline of that church officiated at the funeral services Monday afternoon. Interment under the auspices of the Campbell Mortuary was made in the Blair cemetery.
