MRS. EHRICKE RITES MONDAY

Funeral services for Mrs. Delbert Ehricke, 65, of Kennard were held Monday afternoon at the Kennard Methodist church with Rev. Henry Kleinert of Arlington officiating, and interment under the supervision of the Bendorf Funeral Home was made in Lyons, Nebraska.

Mr. and Mrs. Ehricke met with an automobile accident near Chillicothe, Mo. In the accident three trucks were piled up on the highway and another rammed the car in which Mr. and Mrs. Ehricke were driving. Mr. Ehricke sustained a broken leg and Mrs. Ehricke was fatally injured. They were both taken to a hospital in Chillicothe where Mrs. Ehricke died.

She was born Oct. 7, 1885 at Decatur, Nebraska, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Leonard Jennewein. She was married to Leonard Albert Kelley in December of 1904. The husband died in 1931. Later in 1935 she remarried, this time to D. W. Ehricke of Omaha.

The children from the first marriage who survive are Mrs. Hughie Gilchrist of Carrier Mills, Ill.; Del Kelley of Carrier Mills, Ill.; Delmos Kelley of Anaheim, Calif. Besides these and the husband, there are several stepchildren and six grandchildren and two great grandchildren and one brother, Guy of Yoder, Wyoming.

The pallbearers who served at the last sad rites were Harlan Christiansen, H. B. Plugge, Harry Noel, Clyde Rosenbaum, James Snyder and August Matzen, Jr.
