MRS. LILLIAN VOHRIES BURIED IN

Mrs. Lillian Vohries, formerly of this county, died at the home of her daughter, Mrs Ortha Hill of Lincoln, on Tuesday afternoon.

Mrs. Vohries was born in Kentucky, and came to this county when a small child. She married Lem Vohries who passed away about twenty five years ago. Mr. and Mrs. Vohries lived on a farm near Kennard for a number of years and after the husband’s death, Mrs. Vohries went to Lincoln where she has made her home since. Four children survive, Mrs. Mary Wilkins of Blair, Mrs. Ortha Hill of Lincoln, Ira Vohries of Lincoln and Claude of Wyoming.

Funeral rites were held this afternoon, Thursday, from the Methodist church in Kennard, and interment was made in the Kennard cemetery.

Mr. and Mrs. Vohries were early settlers in this county. Mrs. Vohries was ninety two years of age at her death.
