JOHN STABEN DIES AT 77

John Staben, a native of the Calhoun vicinity, died at his home in Randolph, Nebraska May 21st. His death was due to a heart attack.

He was married to Miss Mary Gottsch in 1913, and to them two daughters were born, Ruth Staben and Mrs. Earl Bethune. Those who survive him are his wife and two daughters and one grandchild, Milton, also one sister, Mrs. Lena Thielfoldt, and one brother, Chris Staben, both of Blair.

Funeral services and interment were made in Randolph. Those from this vicinity who attended the funeral were Mr. and Mrs. Nels Lindberg of Blair; Mr. and Mrs. Chas. Thielfoldt of Herman; Mrs. Lena Thielfoldt and Chris Staben of Blair; Mr. and Mrs. John Thielfoldt of Craig.
