Orin B. Carter Died At Omaha

Orin b. Carter died at his home in Omaha early yesterday morning of heart failure. He had been a sufferer from diabetes for several years, but had been able to get about. He got up during the storm and went into the kitchen to close some window and fell dead.

Mrs. Carter had gotten up also, and when she went into the kitchen, she found him dead. She had been warned the end might come very suddenly, so it wasn't unexpected, his dropsy being so bad he couldn't get his clothes on any more.

A short service will be held at the residence in Omaha tomorrow and the funeral held at the Methodist Church here and burial will be in the Carter lot in the Blair Cemetery.

Orin was born on the old Alex Carter farm north of Blair. April 1st, 1869, so he was just past 59 years of age. He was married to Mrs. Della Ford in Omaha in about 1910, where they made their home, he being employed at the Ford plant.

He is survived by his wife, one sister, Mrs. Walter Peck, of Tekamah and one foster sister, Mrs. Eph Lippincott of near Blair.
