HANS BOE BURIED SUNDAY

Hans Boe, well known in Blair where he has been a resident for nearly thirty years, died on Thursday evening, May 3rd.

Deceased was born in Denmark on September 13th. He was married to Miss Elizabeth Bonds on August 4, 1919 and came with his family to Blair in 1922.

He farmed for a time and was later employed as a meat cutter and in recent years as a toll keeper on the Blair Bridge. For years he suffered with what appeared to be an incurable illness, but finally after several operations he apparently recovered and of late years was in fair health. Recently a leg ailment has kept him confined in his home for the past nine months.

He is survived by his wife and one daughter, Mrs Cecelia Nelson of Omaha, two sons, Hans of Oakland and Eric at home, also four grandchildren and by one brother, Rasmus, who lives in Florida.

Funeral services were held at the First Lutheran Church on last Sunday at 2 p.m. with Rev. Jorgensen pronouncing the funeral oration, and interment under the supervision of the Campbell Mortuary was made in the Blair cemetery.
