MRS. IRENE HAACK PRESCOTT IS BURIED

Mrs. Don Prescott, nee Irene Haack of Clayton, Missouri, died at an Omaha hospital on Thursday of last week after being hospitalized since last Christmas.

Irene Haack, daughter of Mrs. Etta Haack, now of Omaha, was born in Blair and was a graduate of the Blair High School. About nine years ago she was married to Daniel C. Prescott and they went to live in Clayton, Missouri which is a suburb of St. Louis. Mrs. Prescott here held a good position as salesman for Fairbanks Morse Co.

Mrs. Prescott had been in poor health for a number of years. She came to Omaha last Christmas to be present at the marriage of a nephew, Richard Burdic, and while there took sick and was taken to the hospital where she died after a long period of suffering from ulcers.

She leaves to mourn her death her mother, Mrs. Etta Haack and two sisters, Mrs. Niel Burdic of Omaha and Mrs. Byron Bunn of Blair and one brother, Marvin Haack of Omaha. These with the husband are left to mourn her departing.

Funeral rites were held last Saturday, May 5th, at the Crosby Kunold Funeral Home in Omaha with Rev. James of the Presbyterian Church officiating, and burial was made at the Hill Crest Cemetery.
