LANGHORST RITES SET FOR WEDNESDAY

Mrs. Marie Fredricka Langhorst, 76, died Sunday evening at her farm home near Fontanelle. She had been in ill health for the past two years.

Marie Wilkening was born June 18, 1874 on a farm south of Fontanelle where she lived until she was married to Henry J. Langhorst on Marsh 6, 1901 at the home place. After their marriage they bought a farm northwest of Fontanelle where they lived all of their married life.

The Langhorsts observed their 50th wedding anniversary March 6.

Mrs. Langhorst was a member of the Salem Evangelical Lutheran church at Fontanelle and was a member of the Ladies’ Aid.

Surviving are her widower; three children, Wilbert and Ester both of Nickerson and Mrs. Henry Paeper, also of Nickerson; three grandchildren; two brothers, William Wilkening of Arlington and Henry Wilkening of Fremont; and one sister, Mr. Anna Schweder of Nickerson.

Funeral services were held Wednesday at 2 p.m. in the Salem Evangelical church in Fontanelle with Rev. M. A. Ritzen officiating. and interment wa made in the church cemetery.
