MIKE JABER RITES HELD TUESDAY MONDAY

Mike Jaber, 65, well known in Blair, died at his home in this city last Saturday morning of a heart attack. He had been in failing health for several years.

He and his wife came to this country from Syria shortly after their marriage and have lived here for thirty four years. For a number of years he farmed, but his health failed and he moved to Blair where, for a time he operated a taxi line.

He is survived by his wife, three sons, Joseph of Blair; Thomas of Craig, Mo.; Latuf in the armed forces and stationed at Ft. Riley, Kansas; and two daughters, Mrs. Glenn Metzler of Omaha; and Miss Minnie Jaber who is at home.

Services were held Tuesday morning at 9 o’clock from St. Francis Borgia Catholic church, and burial, under the supervision of the Campbell Mortuary, was made in the Blair cemetery.
