SERVICES FOR THEODORE PARRISH

Resident Of Herman For 72 Years Died In Omaha Hospital

Theodore Homer Parrish, the son of Samuel M. and Ellen Parrish was born in Gilmore, Ohio November 4, 1874, and died at an Omaha hospital March 15, 1951. He was 76 years, 4 months and 11 days.

Mr. Parrish came to Nebraska from Ohio with his parents in a covered wagon in 1879, and has lived in the Herman vicinity ever since with the exception of two years that he lived in Blair.

He was married to Ada Gould December 25, 1891 near Herman. To this union three sons were born, Max of Omaha, Dale and Gould of California.

Mr. Parrish and May Bowsman were united in marriage June 7th, 1927. To this union one son, Glen, was born. He is serving his country in the United states Navy.

Surviving Mr. Parrish are his wife, May, four sons, Max, Dale, Gould and Glen, three brothers, George of Dakota City, Nebraska; Jesse and Lynn of Omaha; two sisters, Jennie Hopkins of Houston, Texas; and Imelda Trivets of Newton, Iowa; many nieces and nephews and a host of friends.

Rev. Robert Wigert had charge of the funeral. The singers were Mrs. Claude Yowell and Mrs. William Skinner with Mrs. T. R. Swanson at the organ. Pallbearers were Floyd Sheets, J. A. Jespersen, Wayne Miller, Glen Green, J. B. Jensen and Clyde Echles.

Burial will be at a later date due to the late arrival of Glen, who has now arrived in the United States.
