MRS. CATHERINE CARVER DIES IN CALIFORNIA

Mrs. Catherine Marie Hillman Carver died in a hospital in Los Angeles, California on last Saturday, March 10th, following a long illness of diabetes and heart trouble.

She was born in Modale, Iowa, the daughter of Ab Hillman of Omaha. The family moved to Blair, and the deceased graduated from the Blair High School. In 1925 she was married to Chas. Toft and to them three children were born, Chas., Mac and Jimmie, all residing in Los Angeles.

About a year ago she married Chas. Carver who survives her. Besides the husband and her father and children, she leaves three sisters, Mrs Carroll Thornburgh and Mrs. George K. Nelson of Blair and Mrs. Raymond Vineyard of Norwalk, California. She was a member of the Methodist church.

Funeral services were held at Whittier, California Wednesday, March 14th.
