OTTO KUHR VICTIM OF ACCIDENT

Otto Kuhr, well known in Blair and vicinity, fell from a tree on Wednesday at about noon and passed away on Thursday at 1 o’clock. The fall, it is reported, had broken his back.

Deceased was a native of this county, having been born on a farm near Orum on January 5, 1885. He attended the Lincoln school where he received his early education.

He was married September 28, 1910 to Miss Nellie Kegler, the ceremony being performed in Blair. After their marriage they moved to their farm near Orum where they farmed until 1930 when they moved to North Walker Avenue in Blair where they have since resided.

He is survived by his wife, two brothers, George and John, and three sisters, Mrs. Albert Hansen, Mrs. Bertha Wrich and Mrs. Tilda Wulf.

He was a member of the Methodist church, an exceptionally fine citizen and a good husband and neighbor.

Funeral services were held Tuesday at 2 p.m. from the Methodist church, and interment under the supervision of the Campbell Mortuary was made in the Blair cemetery.
