MICHAEL VAN WILSON RITES NEXT SAT.

Michael Van Wilson passed away Wednesday morning at 2 o’clock in a hospital in Beatrice, Nebr. He had been staying with his daughter, Mrs. Lloyd Fletcher of Beatrice.

Deceased was born in DeSoto August 16, 1869, to Mr. and Mrs. Tom Wilson and when a small child moved with his parents to the Vacoma vicinity where he grew to manhood and where he spent his entire active life.

He was married to Miss Dora Pilcher and to them two children were born. A son and a daughter. The son died in Casper, Wyoming several years ago, but the daughter survives and lives in Beatrice. The wife died only a short time ago.

Mike was a successful farmer and amassed a considerable fortune. In later life he and his wife moved to Blair where they spent the time until her death.

Besides the daughter, he leaves two brothers, Ed Wilson of Herman and Tom Wilson of Casper, Wyoming, and two sisters, Mrs. Winnie Skinner and Mrs. Louise Pilcher both of Herman.

Funeral services will be held at one p.m. Saturday from the Baptist church in Blair of which he was a member, and interment under the supervision of the Bendorf Funeral Home will be made in the Blair cemetery.

Rev. D. D. Kennedy of Sumner, Nebr. will officiate if weather permits coming to Blair.
