Mr. And Mrs. Dine Carter, Jr. lost their only daughter, eight months old, Monday of cerebral meningitis. The disease came on very suddenly. She was taken sick about 1 o'clock Sunday afternoon and died at noon Monday. Dr. Langstaff was called and did everything possible for the little sufferer. Monday morning he called Dr. Murdock in consultation but nothing further could be done. The funeral was held at 3:30 yesterday afternoon at their home on East Nebraska Street, Elder H. S. Lytle officiating. It was a very hard blow to the young parents and they have the sympathy of all who knew them.
