CALHOUN WOMAN BURIED SUNDAY

Mrs. Richard Sievers of Ft. Calhoun died Thursday, November 16th, in the Blair hospital following a stroke some twelve hours prior. She had been about her duties previous to the stroke as usual and when stricken was rushed to the Blair Hospital where she passed away.

Clara Klindt was born on a farm southwest of Ft. Calhoun on June 20, 1904 to Mr. and Mrs. Herman Klindt. Here she grew to maturity, and on June 30, 1926, she was married to Richard Sievers, the ceremony being performed in the Kountz Memorial Church in Omaha. They immediately began housekeeping in Ft. Calhoun where her husband was engaged in business with his father, the late Wm. Sievers.

Three children were born to them, Mrs. Wm. Winkler of Washington, D.C.; Carol and Emelie, both at home. Besides the members of the immediate family she has two brothers, Chas. Klindt of Omaha and Henry of Denver and two sisters, Alma of Omaha and Margaret of Kansas City, Mo.

Mrs. Sievers was an active member of the Presbyterian church of Calhoun and of the Eastern Star. In both of these organizations she did her part willingly.

She was a remarkable wife and mother, and her neighbors and friends grieve with the bereaved family over her departure.

Funeral services with Rev. Jackson and Rev. Bernard, both of Omaha officiating, were held in the Presbyterian Church Sunday at 2 p.m., and interment was made in the Calhoun cemetery.
